Jeep Trackhawk -- 707bhp, 180mph
Bear in Mind the Dodge Demon from a few slides past? The madder, badder Hellcat? Course you do. Now imagine the amount of dreadful light beer consumed with the person who came up with the idea of slotting the 707bhp version of said supercharged V8 to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. This, not the Lamborghini Urus, is the most powerful SUV of 2017. 'Murica one, Italy, nil
Hennessey Venom F5 -- 1600bhp (claimed), 290mph (promised )
Hennessey's back , and he's heading for 300mph. The Venom F5, successor to the car that struck 270mph and recognized Hennessey for a participant in the top rate supercar match, is named after F5 category storms, which possess a windspeed score of around 318mph. Would the Texan underdog really take it to the might of the VW Group, and Koenigsegg? 2017's reveal of the new Venom has been the opening shot of around two. Place your bets...
Porsche 911 GT2 RS -- 691bhp, 211mph
We waited quite a while for Porsche to flip the 991-generation of 911 into a 'widowmaker'. After the 691bhp GT2 RS came, and we drove it, the most shocking thing was how habitable and un-terrifying it had been. This 's modern tyres and aerodynamics for you. And as a result, the GT2 RS blitzed around the Nrburgring at a new record time of 6mins 43.7sec. Notice: to replicate such time you want to be handy and brave as an actual professional racing driver.
McLaren 720S -- 710bhp, 211mph
The McLaren 720S has brought hypercar performance to the supercar realm. It is vividly fast, and on the road, you'd struggle to spot a gap in impulse between it and the P1. However, besides being a land-borne missile, it's also truly engaging to drive at reduced speed and incredibly friendly and pragmatic, which is much more of an achievement than its spectacular performance. It's TG's supercar of the year.
BMW M760Li -- 602bhp, 155mph
This unassuming pluto-barge is, in fact, the most effective, fastest road-going BMW ever produced. It's not even a true M automobile, however, the bi-turbo V12 that lurks from the bloated nostrils of this ultimate 7 Series is an actual monster among motors. It grows 602bhp, also thanks to xDrive 4x4 delivering the traction, it can launch from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds. Therefore it's quicker compared to i8, faster than an M3, and up until the new M5 was disclosed, was unassailable from the BMW range for pace. It's not too much a flagship as a destroyer.
Bugatti Chiron -- 1,479bhp, 261mph (claimed)
Although we had been first introduced into the new Bugatti Chiron in 2016, we weren't exposed to the complete power of its 1,479bhp quad-turbo W16 until earlier this season. And when that occurred, any notions of this thing being only a reheated Veyron quickly vanished. As it's eventually unleashed with its limiter, the entire world will be watching.
